I appreciate it.  Yes, with the intense rigors of dance and especially ballet, I strive to educate performers that the mind does influence performance, the body and even healing. There are specific strategies (some I have created ) to assist with memory, pain, enhancement. I am continually amazed at the power of mental influence. Love your blog here. Tamara, Thank you. Cross training is a must. My daughter who is a professional ballet dancer does Bikram Hot yoga every chance she gets and it has noticeably improved her dance and when she is off balance she is rebalanced.
